STEVE'S NEW WESTERN NOW AVAILABLE!!

Hang Shadow Horse! by Steve Hayes and Ben Bridges

Steve's western with long-time collaborator Ben Bridges, Hang Shadow Horse!, has just been published in ebook (as always, exclusively through Amazon) and paperback, available here. To whet your appetites, here's the synopsis:

"The Portuguese slavers called him Sam because they couldn't pronounce his real name. They tore him away from his homeland and put him to work picking cotton in the Tennessee Valley. But the big, fleet-footed Zulu was nobody's slave, and to prove it he escaped and headed west. Throwing in with a medicine show conman named Doc Jonah, Sam started entering county footraces to earn enough money to go back to Africa. But then his trail crossed that of Major Lawrence Devlin, and nothing was going to stop the ruthless rancher's man from winning the Fort Stockton Carnival Week race. From that moment forward Sam was cheated, beaten, shot and hunted like an animal. Worse, they took his beautiful grullo mare, U-Shee-nah, away from him. But that was Devlin's biggest mistake, because it only made Sam more determined to get his revenge ... and as Shadow Horse he became Devlin's worst nightmare."

But even before they reach Paris they become embroiled in a perilous mystery of the like even they have never encountered before. Who, for example, is the strange man with the peculiar fascination for raindrops? And why does someone want one of France's most beloved novelists dead? Before the final explosive confrontation, Holmes and Watson must tangle with a cold and calculating brotherhood for which no crime is too ghastly, especially if it helps to further their own sinister ends ...

Robbin's powerful new romantic adventure has just appeared in digital format, as usual exclusively through Amazon worldwide. Now she had returned to Africa to scatter Ivan's ashes in the 'cradle of mankind' -- Olduvai Gorge. A young widow, still grieving the senseless loss of her husband, she intended to visit the Mountain Gorillas in the hope of finding the inner peace Ivan had found watching them many years before. But the trip was not without its dangers, for Congolese rebels regularly waged war in the region. Then a fluke accident led to an encounter with handsome, London-trained Dr Robert Ngadamo ... and nothing for Olivia would ever be the same again. Robert had devoted himself to healing the sick of his poverty-ridden country. But he was a man as well as a doctor, and Olivia was everything he had ever wanted in a woman. When Robert was kidnapped by the rebels, it seemed that their love was not to be. As far as Olivia was concerned, however, she had to go after him and, if possible, do everything in her power to save him. Everything.

A brazen daylight robbery at Christie's becomes the talk of London. But Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are no longer in the business of crime. Holmes has retired to Sussex to keep bees, while Watson, recently widowed, has returned to general practice. When their paths cross again, however, Holmes invites his old friend to accompany him on holiday to Austria, where he plans to visit the eminent neurologist, Sigmund Freud. Grateful for the distraction, Watson agrees. But for the Great Detective and his Boswell, intrigue is never far away. For ruthless criminals are at work in Vienna, and their business includes abduction, intimidation ... and murder. With Vienna a hotbed of intrigue, there is no shortage of suspects, chief among them a shadowy terrorist group called The Black Hand. But although the crooks are playing for high stakes, their objective remains shrouded in mystery. How can a crime committed in England relate to the puzzling events in Vienna? And what bearing does it all have on a visiting American by the name of Erik Weisz ... better-known as escapologist Harry Houdini?

Shattered Lives by Steve Hayes Head Over Heels by Steve Hayes All Change by Steve Hayes Butterfly on the Wall by Steve Hayes

Steve's first book, Butterfly on the Wall was written over a five-year period throughout the early 1950s. Steve considered it to be more of a learning experience than anything else. But the manuscript -- all 700+ pages of it -- recently came to light, and at the urging of Steve's long-time collaborator, David Whitehead, it has finally been published in eight separate volumes. Available exclusively through Amazon Kindle, The Grantley Saga tells the semi-autobiographical story of one family's struggle to survive in wartime Britain. "It was an immensely moving experience," says David, who edited the manuscript for publication. "And an invaluable record of a period of history written by someone who actually lived through it. I lived with this book for about three months -- nowhere near the five years it took Steve to write it -- but at the end I was sorry to let it go. That's how completely the characters got under my skin."

When New York businesswoman Jackie O'Hara finds out that she's terminally ill, she knows she has to put her affairs in order -- and top of her list is making peace with her estranged brother Danny. There's just one problem. Danny was the sole witness to a high-profile gangland murder, and now he's on the run from the Russian Mafia. As Jackie begins her worldwide search for Danny, she knows she's in a race against time. She could surprise everyone and live for years ... or she might die today, or tomorrow ...

In JACKIE O' the aim is to create the literary equivalent of a TV series, with each 15-18,000 word novel reading as a self-contained 'episode' which follows Jackie's ongoing search for her wayward brother.

So far Steve has written the first two books in the series, which are now available from Amazon, while Andrea has penned the third, entitled Hunt for Truth. As usual, check out Amazon's Kindle pages in the UK, America, France, Germany, Spain and Italy for more details ... or just go to our own Kindle Collection page.
